The War on Terror?

We were sitting at dinner the other night discussing an article about the number of deaths attributed to Prozac over the last 20 years or so. This particular article mentioned the deaths as a result of Prozac were in the neighborhood of 20,000. This is a staggering number! My brother-in-law piped up and exclaimed that there were “only 5000 or so killed in the 9/11 attack in New York and look at the outcry from that”. The comparison is puzzling and troubling in the extreme. How does an organization such as the American Psychiatric Association and its members get away with such atrocities?

The uproar that ensued when the two towers fell, shut down the United States for two days and another ‘event’ that destroyed four times as many lives has created nary a blip on the media’s radar.

This statistic of 20,000 deaths is just one psychiatric drug in one country. It does not include all the other drugs promoted carelessly by psychiatrists. It does not include the destroyed lives and wasted production from the effects of ECT (Electro Convulsive Shock Therapy) – don’t kid yourself, it is still going on in full swing. Do your own research. Here is a site with more information about ECT.

Lovely topic for dinner I assure you. But my conclusion from this conversation was that a smart terrorist organization could destroy this country quite legally and much more effectively by financing the American Psychiatric Association. This will never happen of course because terrorists are not really smart enough, so don’t worry…

If you are offended by any of this, I implore you to do your own research on these statistics and other “side effects” of Prozac and other psychiatric activities.

If you are incensed as I am, then do something! Find a group that is actually doing something about the crimes and terror that psychiatry is wreaking on our world and if you cannot donate time then donate money. Find groups that are actually exposing crimes of psychiatry to put them away.
