ETC and Teens (Electro-Convulsive Therapy)

ETC and Teens (Electro-Convulsive Therapy)

The proponents of ECT(Electro-Convulsive Shock Therapy) lament that ECT has a poor public image.  Well, I love that part.  In an article on a website called Mescape, a Dr. Puffer of the Mayo Clinic is quoted: "The findings also suggest that while ECT improves outcomes, it is not a cure.”

First of all, of course they don’t have a cure and they(Psychiatric Industry) admits that none of their treatments are cures.  What then are they trying to do?  There are no biological tests for their so called illnesses that supposedly result from odd brain chemistry.  Depression is a real thing but not knowing the cause,  the treatments are largely to suppress symptoms.   And if the chemical straight jackets don’t work, the next step for them is ECT.  Now if that doesn’t work, will they start promoting lobotomies and leucotomies as a final solution or maybe euthanasia…?  If one is all about treating symptoms what would be the problem taking things this far.

Electric shock is a known torture technique.  If someone from a different country was using this type of ‘treatment’ on US citizens, they would be called terrorists.

CONSTITUTIONAL DESTRUCTION

CONSTITUTIONAL DESTRUCTION

"For any group to engage fully and knowingly upon the destruction of the Constitution and any liberty or freedom it may guarantee is less startling than that they should also be accepted as the dominant force behind many politicians.

National Mental Health groups in any country are all members of the World Federation of Mental Health. The former president of the WFMH, the Communist Brock Chisholm, and any and all officers of this group and its 'National' Mental Health members freely confess that they have as a primary target the eradication of their country's Constitution.

In the US this is a criminal offence, to advocate the overthrow of the Constitution. But many unprincipled State and Federal politicians not only turn a blind eye upon this, but also condone illegal seizure, torture and murder of citizens by these groups. Hitler once said that his primary weapon was the “incredible”.  No one would believe what was actually being done by the Saboteur forces of the Third Reich because their plans L ron hubbardwere incredible.

These psychiatric front groups have a very thorough program of Western destruction:

1. Destruction of the Constitution.
2. Eradication of boundaries.
3. Easy seizure of anyone.
4. The 'right' to torture or kill.
5. Eradication of all churches.
6. Destruction of sexual morality.
7. Deprivation of future leaders by the creation of dope addiction in schools."

Lies from Big Pharma, The FDA and psychiatry!

Lies from Big Pharma, The FDA and psychiatry!

Great article on some of the falsehoods propagated by the pharmaceutical industry.  Fourteen myths that we have been told over and over now properly debunked.

Myth # 1:
“The FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) tests all new psychiatric drugs”

False. Actually the FDA only reviews studies that were designed, administered, secretly performed and paid for by the multinational profit-driven drug companies. The studies are frequently farmed out by the pharmaceutical companies by well-paid research firms, in whose interest it is to find positive results for their corporate employers. Unsurprisingly, such research policies virtually guarantee fraudulent results."

Depression – no fun at all!

Depression – no fun at all!

As  with physical pain, drugs can mask an underlying cause. Many psychologists, doctors and psychiatrists will tell you that the drug is bringing an abnormal or chemical imbalance back to a more natural state. When asked to do a test for this as one would do for a physical ailment, no test can be produced; there never has been one.

So, you are struggling with your depression and want some kind of relief, anything just to be unstuck from this awful cloying mass and feeling that is with you every minute of the day. The Doctor offers you you a pill or a bottle of pills like Xanax or some such promising relief. Offering one kind of hell for another; for now you are in a chemical straight jacket as when the effects of the drug wear off here comes your funk again.

In 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's depression as a 'disease was pretty much unheard of. The folks that would make money from your illness would have you believe that half you school class back in those days were just hiding a constant horribleness. I have spoken to hundreds and hundreds of people from these earlier eras and this is just not true.  Unless I was only able to find those who were not constantly dogged by depression. Certainly many voiced that they were some times troubled and sad; life as a teen can be horrible at times but any that I spoke with were able to come out of it without drugs.

There is this idea purported by the medical industry that this particular day and age, this society is more stressful than earlier times. They would have us believe that this the only era where anyone had difficulty with their parents or children.

I know that you think that your situation is special and different. Believe me it is. But at the same time it isn't.

So what did people do before drugs were the answer. Do you want a quick fix? Something that will mask the symptoms? Or do you want to fix it? I do honestly know that it feels like it is something that cannot be fixed.  But believe me you and the human race are made of sterner stuff than that. You may not think that now but it is the truth.

I read this book years ago by a psychiatrist named Sydney Walker Jr. The book was called A Dose Of Sanity.  It was about the mood altering drug Prozac. One of the things that he said repeatedly in the book was that he could invariably find out the underlying physical cause of some mental difficulty.  He gave examples ranging from allergies to brain tumours where Prozac had been prescribed nearly causing deaths if Dr. Walker had not intervened.

I am not entirely convinced, though, that every person that is depressed has some physical problem. I have seen too many people resolve their depression in other ways. I have this friend at the gym. He was prescribed drugs as a solution to his depression by his doctor. His uncle got a hold of him and took him to a martial arts class and he never looked back, never took any of the drugs, he didn't need them anymore once started training.

This may not be the solution for everybody and may be more difficult for you to start something to change. Also, some in the medical industry would argue that he was not really depressed if it was that easy; that a little exercise is not going to resolve something of this depth. If you listen to his story, it was not that easy, but he was able to persist with help of his uncle.

Sometime that is what is needed. Someone to help you get from here to there. The majority of time the solutions to the most complex situations are ver, very simple! (I know there is no way you are going to believe that when you terribly depressed.)

A couple of things to try and hold onto when you are feeling the worst: firstly, it is not, no matter what you think, you!  And two: it can get better - there is something that you can do about it.

Two Pronged Attack: Education and Drugs

Two Pronged Attack: Education and Drugs

I grew up in the 50s and 60s.  There is no lack of evidence that education was considerably better then than it is now.  Even then, it was almost scary how literate my father’s generation was compared to ours at the time.

There are many ways to destroy a culture.  I remember mentioning to some friends way back when through the 60s and 70s that the best way to do it would be a two pronged attack.  If one wanted to control a population, that people had to be dulled, dumbed down.  Uneducated. It had to be done in increments and would be much easier if the senses were dulled.

Thus came the glorious advent of drugs in the 60s.  Not that drug use was not around before that but illegal drugs particularly were marketed in such a way to become quite acceptable.  And the more the senses were dulled, the easier it was to keep reducing the effectiveness of the education system.

I watch young people in retail outlets now that do not know how to count out change to a customer.  And this is a majority.  If the register does not tell them how much to give back they are lost.  If a customer gives them a little extra change so the cashier can round out the change to a dollar or a fiver then there eyes glaze over blankly.  I DO NOT blame these young people.  They have been unfortunate enough to go through an education system that was stripped of many basic and useful tools.  Like the basics of math.

I’m pretty sure that addition and times tables are not done anymore.  Back in the 50s and 60s we drilled these until we could do them in our sleep.  It is the ONLY way to learn this.  One must know tables like this by rote. Just learning the theory of how is useless if one one does not know the tables cold.

Here is a great example of the deterioration of math knowledge from the website: www.thestraightdope.com

“The following examples may help to clarify the difference between the new and old math.

1960: A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of this price. What is his profit?

1970 (Traditional math): A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80. What is his profit?

1975 (New Math): A logger exchanges a set L of lumber for a set M of money. The cardinality of set M is 100 and each element is worth $1.

(a) make 100 dots representing the elements of the set M

(b) The set C representing costs of production contains 20 fewer points than set M. Represent the set C as a subset of the set M.

(c) What is the cardinality of the set P of profits?

1990 (Dumbed-down math): A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80 and his profit is $20. Underline the number 20.

1997 (Whole Math): By cutting down a forest full of beautiful trees, a logger makes $20.

(a) What do you think of this way of making money?

(b) How did the forest birds and squirrels feel?

(c) Draw a picture of the forest as you'd like it to look.”

When you are cashing out at the end of a busy day ‘how one feels’ about the money doesn’t help one at all. Knowing that 10 dimes add up to a dollar might.

But after the 60s young people questioned what they were given/told in school less and less. I remember meeting an ex-teacher of mine about 15-20 years after I graduated.  We talked about that period of time and he said ‘What I wouldn’t give for some students like I had in the 60s.”  He said that kids in the 80s and 90s never questioned anything.  Ever.  All they wanted to do was clock their hours and get their grades.

So, with this dumbing down, legal drugs get introduced to the general population directly. Instead of marketing mood altering drugs through psychiatry, the pharmaceutical companies went direct by advertising their wares on television.  Then, without batting an eye, or doing their own research(not really knowing how or that it might be appropriate to actually question anything) the North American population began to consume billions of dollars worth of ‘legal’ drugs.  Which further dulled awareness and any judgement that anyone would otherwise have.

I occasionally catch some video on Youtube where people are making fun of the uneducated public by asking questions that catch them out.  Wonderful.  We can all sit around and laugh at another’s expense.  Rarely does anyone in this position actually try and point out that maybe it is not this person’s fault but the system in which they were educated.

Back in the 60s we all read ‘Brave New World’ by Aldous Huxley and Orwell’s 1984.  We all believed that because of these books that these things would never come to pass.

I guess we too got a bit distracted and forgot to fight the good fight.

If you are reading this, demand that your children learn some basics in school properly.  Make sure they know how to research things on their own.

Dr. Joseph Biederman – Terrorist

Dr. Joseph Biederman – Terrorist

This is a man that should be on the terrorist watch list for about every country in the world.  He should not be allowed near children of any age.  Young children are having a hard enough time dealing with learning to operate a new young body, and the bizarre creatures called adults.  Most need simply some love and attention, NOT another iPad or a mind altering chemical from Johnson & Johnson or Eli Lilly.

Please take the time to read through this article:

Above the law: Psychiatrist Ron Rubin: “I’m confused. I don’t get it”

Above the law: Psychiatrist Ron Rubin: “I’m confused. I don’t get it”

These people need to be disciplined by their own but I don't see that ever happening.  The pharmaceutical industry has the desire for money and control.  Keeping psychiatrists out 'there' upsetting various Publics and making a mess of things feeds their coffers.  So, when I hear of psychiatrists being detained for illegal behavior lessening native based terrorism, well, that is all good for the western world.

Non-conformity and Drugs

The first time I really read anything about the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders(DSM) was reading a book called “A Dose of Sanity” by the late Sydney Walker, Jr.  He was a psychiatrist that was completely disgusted with the laziness of doctors and psychiatrists and the abuse of the pharmaceutical industry.  He gave examples where he found brain tumors where the person was recommended mood altering drugs because the medical practitioner would not take the time to diagnose properly.

And now it just keeps getting worse with the latest edition of witchcraft and wizards potions: DSM-V

This from Wikipedia:

“Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) is a childhood disorder described by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) as an ongoing pattern of anger-guided disobedience, hostility, and defiant behavior toward authority figures which goes beyond the bounds of normal childhood behavior. Children suffering from this disorder may appear very stubborn and often angry.”

This is a bit frightening.  Someone mistreating a child just has to send for the drugs to keep them from fighting back.

This is a decent article on “oppositional defiant disorder”:
The Mind Unleashed

Many people that are unable to confront the evil that does exist in this world will not believe this will be used by politicians to control populations.  But history proves that it will time and again.  I believe that people are mostly good and because of this they tend to hope or believe that nothing will get that bad.  Just remember the ‘frog in the pan’.
